Thanks to this method, you can create a pleasant 60-minute time slot for yourself once a week and at the same time say goodbye to blackheads and pores.
Have fun everyone! 🍹
The Fiddy Method, named after Korean skincare blogger Fiddy Snails, is a special cleansing method recommended for clearing blackheads and clogged pores. Its main purpose is deep pore cleansing, and this method consists of a three-step process using salicylic acid, a clay mask, and an oil-based cleanser.
Can be applied once a week.
Step 1: Salicylic Acid (BHA)
Apply a leave-on product containing 2% Salicylic Acid (BHA) to clean skin. A serum or toner would be suitable.
You can apply the product to areas of your body or face where you particularly suffer from blackheads. Wait for approximately 20-25 minutes, then wash the applied area.
Step 2: Clay Mask
Apply a clay mask to the areas where you applied Salicylic Acid in the first step (bentonite clay is recommended if your skin is very oily, opt for kaolin if it's sensitive). Leave the mask on your skin for about 15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
Step 3: Double Cleansing
Now we come to the removal of dirt/blackheads from within the pores, which were softened by Salicylic Acid in step 1 and drawn upwards like a magnet by clay in step 2, by massaging them out with the help of oil.
In this step, we use the "Double Cleansing Method". First, we massage the relevant areas with an oil-based cleanser in circular motions for 5-10 minutes. For this, you can use Malen's 360° Multi-Use Oil — with its 17 different plant extracts, it dissolves dirt within the pores and nourishes the skin. Then, we cleanse our skin with a gentle water-based cleanser and moisturize. That's it! 🌱
